16 Days of Activism Kicks Off with March: The 16 Days of Activism kicked off in Majuro on Wednesday with a march against gender violence that began in Delap Park and ended at the 16 Days of Activism opening ceremony at the College of the Marshall Islands. The Embassy participated in the March, along with almost 100 members of the community led by a large police contingent. The 16 Days of Activism will continue into December with events marking the International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women, White Ribbon Day, International Day for the Abolition of Slavery, and World Human Rights Day.
