On May 6, Ambassador Armbruster and General Services Officer Fred Reichard presented airplane e-tickets and itineraries to Malia Nii and Nicodemus Lajidrik, the two RMI participants attending the upcoming Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) for Student Leaders program later this month. The SUSI program provides groups of undergraduate student leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States, while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills. Activities include seminar discussions, readings, group presentations, and lectures, as well as educational travel, site visits, leadership activities and volunteer opportunities. In addition, participants partake in a four week academic residency that will explore the role that environmental policy has played in the economic and political development of the United States.
Embassy Majuro wishes Malia and Nicodemus the best of luck during this exciting educational opportunity!
